A Fractured Family

Hello to anyone who still bothers to read this blog.

With grief so profound it seems unable to be borne, I have to report that the light of my life, my daughter Julia Blayse, passed away on February 11. Her pain proved too much for her.

If anyone cares to view the livestream of her funeral on KM Smith, it was a beautiful service. About a hundred of her friends were there. Four of them spoke. Until that day, I had no idea how many friends she had, or how much she was loved in her community.

She was my best friend. Like her Dad, she was an artist. She wanted to establish the Lewin Blazevich Foundation, and I will fulfil her wish. I will ensure that it commemorates both of them.
